Great atmosphere with dim lighting and a fun crowd. The drinks reasonably priced. The music was so good! Fitting the vibe. Overall, it’s a great spot for a night out, and I’d definitely come back. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I'm from NYC and have been experiencing nightlife for over 10 years, from the most local and humble bars/clubs to the most exclusive clubs worldwide. Never in my life have I experienced such rude and disgusting service as Upper House in Bangkok. And I have experienced some pretty bad service. To start off, I approached the club and was immediately met with the "tables only right now" spiel. Anyone with eyes and ears can clearly see them letting people in without table reservations, but the baht to USD conversion isn't close enough for me to try and talk my way into free entry. Plus, 10k baht or whatever is their minimum charge, is how much I normally spend on pre-gaming during dinner in any city which isn't in Asia. 10k baht to have a private table at a nightclub? Sounds like a bargain to me. So, I responded to the "tables only right now" spiel by asking how much the minimum is and what's available. Then magically without checking with anyone inside or even glancing at her phone, the stank-faced door lady lets me know that suddenly there are no tables available! I thought probably it was a joke or she swallowed her words, so I politely asked for clarification why she asked me to book a table, only to tell me there are no tables available. Her response was "did you not hear me?" with a disgusted face and dismissive attitude. Her attitude aside, this exchange clearly communicates that there's a reason she doesn't want to let me in which has nothing to do with table availability, door policy, dress code, or anything else which is appropriate to communicate. If you will hire a door lady to sell tables at the door and screen customers walking in, at least train her to maintain some decorum and decipher who's spending and who's not. I'm the last person to pull the race card out of nowhere, but based on our exchange and her attitude I could easily infer that she was being discriminatory (which I still do). But whilst standing at the door waiting for my grab, there was another gentleman who had a table inside the club already and attempted to re-enter the club. Only to be told that his table was full already and nothing could be done. Poor guy even said he would get another table, only to be met with the same attitude and poor service which I received! I'm familiar with the stupid playing hard to get game in "luxury" nightlife, but after someone has already paid money, you treat them like an underaged kid who's begging to get into the club for the first time? Absolutely disgusting and disgraceful. After reading the negative reviews for this club, I'm actually very grateful they didn't let me in. Because if I spend a premium for a VIP table with VIP service and get treated this way, I would want to flip the place upside down. This club is a disgrace to night life and the service-forward culture which makes Bangkok a wonderful place to visit. Shame! Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

The atmosphere was amazing from the moment I walked in. The lighting and interior design created a warm yet stylish vibe, making the place feel both exciting and comfortable. The DJ played great music and kept the energy up throughout the night. The service was impressive, and the staff were attentive and friendly. Overall, it’s a great spot with an excellent vibe, perfect for hanging out with friends and enjoying Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
