This was by far the best Yakisoba place I‘ve been to in Korea. This kind where you want to keep it a secret for yourself, but also want them to succeed and have more customers. Therefore I decided to write this review. Incredible atmosphere with mellow jazz sounds and the female chef is amazingly talented. Anytime when I’m in Seoul I’d go back there Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: I‘m veggie. And you can customize your meal the way you like it. Also suited for vegans.

Had the Tomato okonomiyaki and classic yakisoba. The okonomiyaki was bland and on the dry side. The tomato sauce topping was not good. If comparing to an Italian tomato sauce, the sauce at Uwa had a cheap taste. The yakisoba noodles had a bite to them (al dente) which was good and the sauce was tasty, but there was too much sauce. But most importantly, apart from the topping on the yakisoba, it was all noodles and not a single strand of vegetable or meat among the noodles, so true to its name: yakisoba - fried noodles. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
