After sorting through countless bakeries all over Hong Kong, I can honestly say that Mui Wo Village Bakery stands in a league of its own. It’s not just the freshest bread I’ve tasted; it’s the whole experience—that cozy, village atmosphere and the smell of butter and dough wafting out the door. Far and away, this is the best bakery I’ve come across, and it’s well worth venturing outside the city center for. Price per person: $100–150 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

Great bakery with yummy pastries but do not accept cards. The croissant egg tart was yummy! Unfortunately, I found a hair inside of my sugar donut dough - otherwise it would’ve been great! Price per person: $1–50
