If you’ve spent any time around Circular Road in Singapore, you’ll know it has always had a special kind of energy. I’ve been coming to this stretch for more than 25 years, and I can honestly say that Waka 62 Bar has taken that vibe to an entirely different level. It’s not a huge place, but don’t let the size fool you. This spot absolutely packs a punch. The atmosphere is electric, the music and crowd are perfectly balanced, and there’s a genuine sense that everyone there is just having a great time. What really sets it apart, though, is the people. The staff are incredibly attentive without ever being overbearing, and the owner/manager is on another level altogether. Genuinely one of the nicest hosts you’ll come across, going out of their way to make sure your night is exactly what you want it to be. The place is spotless, the setup is welcoming, and the crowd? Just fantastic. Friendly, social, and up for a laugh. There are also plenty of games to keep things lively. For the record, I was the reigning dice game champion for a glorious eight minutes . Honestly, I can’t say enough good things about Waka 62. If you’re anywhere near Circular Road and want a night with great energy, great people, and great hospitality, this is the place. .
