I am a hotel guest at Furama RiverFront. I checked in on 30 June 2026 and staying here for 30 days, due to work commitments. Even though the hotel looks a bit aged, it still looks grand and well maintained. As I did not feel like going out on a weekend, I’ve decided to give their value set meal a try, since it seemed like a good deal with a main, a side and a non-alcoholic drink. After I placed my order, I was given a glass of plain water. Upon clarifications with the waiter who passed me the water, I was shocked to know that that was the non-alcoholic drink Following that, after a long wait of 25 minutes, my main dish and side finally came. The portion was small. The next shocking fact was that the slice of cake after topping up $2 was two miserable cubes cake which you always see in buffets. Very likely they just took them from the buffet breakfast earlier. After finishing my very underwhelming lunch, I went to pay and clarified with the cashier again on the drink. She appeared surprised, saying that the drink should be a coffee, or tea, or soft drink! Instead of offering that to me right away, she said she’ll make sure I got them when I have the meal there again! An extremely disappointing dining experience here. Think the only saving grace was that the salmon was very nicely cooked. If not because of the delicious salmon, this experience deserved one star only. I am not even going to have the buffet in the other restaurant there, even though I have a 50% off voucher as a hotel guest there. Not worth it. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
