Just had a wonderful dine-in experience at Xi Yan at Shaw, and I'm already planning my next visit! The food is absolutely delicious — authentic Chinese dishes with generous serving sizes that are perfect for sharing. Great value for what you get! A heads-up though: make sure to book in advance as tables fill up quickly. The location is a little tucked away, so give yourself some extra time to find it — but trust me, it's worth the hunt! Once you're inside, you'll love the cozy, relaxed atmosphere. It's not overly crowded, which makes for a really pleasant dining experience. Definitely bringing my friends here next time. Highly recommend if you're looking for a quality Chinese meal in a chill, unhurried setting! There were a few hits and misses. The tofu, spinach, and abacus were quite good. Unfortunately, the herbal chicken didn’t quite deliver —it lacked the depth and rich aroma of herbal flavor I was expecting. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $30–40 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
