台北のWホテルの最上階にある中華レストランYEN紫艷中餐廳 景色も味も一流な高級中華。 ロケーションが最高で、窓からは信義区の夜景が一望できる。 台北101もドーンと見える。 今回も北京ダックを食べた。これが本当に美味かった。 皮はパリッパリで、噛むとじゅわっと脂がジューシーで臭みゼロ。 スタッフが目の前でカットしてくれる演出もある。 店内はスタイリッシュで、紫を基調にしたインテリアがWホテルらしい。 高級感はあるけど堅苦しくなくて、意外とリラックスして食事ができる。 サービスもスマートで感じがいい。 スタッフがちゃんと気配りしてくれて、タイミングも完璧。 値段は正直安くはないけど、クオリティを考えたら納得の内容。 特別な日に行くレストランとしては最高だと思う。 カップルでも、仲間内でちょっと贅沢したい時でもハマる。. 初めての台北。. B級グルメもたのしみたいけれど、雰囲気のある場所で美味しいものを食べたくて予約しました。 北京ダックを、食べたかったので予約時にお願いしました。 31階なので、窓際を予約。 北京ダック他、お料理は全てとても美味しくいただきました。対応してくれた方もニコニコ可愛い笑顔。 これはお店への不満ではありませんが、2人にとっては、ボリュームがありすぎて、もったいなかったけれど、残してしまいました。 もし訪れることがあれば、5、6人で色々頼みたいです。その反面、私たちのように2人で食べられるような、small portion のお料理があるといいなとおもいました。ごちそうさまでした. I recently dined at YEN Taipei and overall, it was a memorable experience. The ambiance and attention to detail were impeccable, and the flavors in the tasting menu were exquisite. However, for a price point of US$500, I expected the service to match the caliber of the cuisine. We selected one of the three tasting menus, and while the dishes were beautifully presented, I was disappointed that no explanations accompanied them. It would have elevated the experience to be told about each dish, its ingredients, and any specific instructions for enjoying it to its fullest. Simply placing the plates in front of us without context felt impersonal for a fine dining experience of this level. Additionally, I noticed a lack of attention to etiquette. There’s a timeless expression, “Ladies First,” but my male companion was consistently served first throughout the evening. This struck me as unusual for a restaurant of this caliber and left a somewhat awkward impression. That said, the food itself was a work of art, and the restaurant clearly has tremendous potential. A few refinements to the service could make it a truly world-class dining destination. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
