got a very bad experience at the store. Likely under staff, saw 2-3 staffs serving include cashiering, service, cleaning up tables, etc. we waited for over 10mins around 3pm at the entrance to catch someone’s attention to bring us in. there’s no heavy crowds maybe just students. staff doesn’t bother us standing outside waiting. once we got in, the staff no where to be found, we got no ticket to place our order. we called for the staff 3 times to get a ticket but she refused to attend to us. she said she needs to clear the table n then later she walked to cashier to process payment for customers. told us to wait! what is so difficult to just print out a ticket for us to scan to place our order? the restaurant is only 10% filled at this hour. so in total, we took 10mins to sit down, followed by another 10mins to get the table ticket, and another 15mins to get our food. tis will probably be the last time to this place. not recommended if you want to enjoy a good meal with friends and family cos tis will definitely destroy your mood. i am curious how the restaurant make it for dinner crowd. Came to Yakiniku Like at Junction 8 for lunch and the food was super delicious! The wait was around 30 minutes, but the queue system was quite reliable, allowing us to keep an eye on our turn while shopping nearby. The food was fresh, tasty, and well-marinated. The restaurant was really busy, but the staff still tried their best to serve the tables as efficiently as they could. The only downside was that the griller seemed to have quite a bit of oil left from previous diners, so it kept popping and splattering while we were cooking. Overall, it was a decent and delicious meal. Just be prepared to wait up to 30 minutes for a table during weekends and peak hours, and around another 15-20 minutes for your order to be served. Had a small celebration for my birthday with my family at the Yakiniku Like (Junction 8) branch. It was very busy for a weekday night and when the orders came the table was a bit too small for everything and the orders also either were mixed up or missed out. One particular staff by the name of Kumaran was very patient with us and would ask if everything was okay occasionally. Would like to thank him for his service and for making my time with my family enjoyable! THANK YOU KUMARAN! Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: SGD 40–50
