I randomly came across this spot while walking through Gyeongju and the Course B short set immediately caught my eye. At 18,000 KRW, it’s honestly kind of a steal for what you get. It comes with a chicken salad, cheese tofu, four different yakitori skewers, tsukune, and a tomato marinade dessert. Five courses for that price is pretty wild. It will not fully fill you up, but the quality more than makes up for it. The chicken salad to start was exactly what you’d expect. Simple, light, and nothing too memorable. Just a nice way to ease into the meal. The cheese tofu looked super unassuming at first, just a small square with a bit of wasabi on top, but it completely surprised me. The texture was almost like a firmer cream cheese, and it had a light sweetness that I was not expecting at all. It worked really well and honestly made me want way more of it. 9.5/10 The yakitori came with chicken breast, gizzard, thigh, and neck. Every skewer was cooked really well and seasoned perfectly. I usually am not a fan of gizzard, but this one was actually great. 8.5/10 The tsukune was another standout. The chicken meatballs were insanely tender and juicy, basically melted as soon as you bit into them. It came with a cold broth on the side, which I did not expect, but it paired surprisingly well. Definitely one of my favorite parts of the meal. 9.5/10 The tomato marinade dessert was light and slightly sweet, with a pretty subtle tomato flavor. A nice, refreshing way to end everything. Overall, the vibe of the place was great and the food really delivered, especially for the price. 9/10 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₩20,000–30,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
