Had a fantastic dining experience at Yoru Teppanyaki in TST! The ingredients were incredibly fresh, and every dish was cooked to absolute perfection right in front of us. The steak was juicy and tender, and the seafood was exceptionally flavorful. The chefs are highly skilled and engaging, making the meal feel like an interactive performance rather than just dinner. The atmosphere is cozy, upscale, and perfect for a special occasion or a nice night out. Service was also prompt and attentive throughout the evening. It's definitely on the pricier side, but absolutely worth it for the quality of food and experience. Will definitely be coming back! We went there on a weekday evening. Upon arriving at the restaurant, the first thing you notice is its ambiance. We were told that the place was recently renovated. The entire restaurant has a very refined Japanese style, with wooden elements and soft lighting, creating a very comfortable and spacious environment ― very different from the cramped feeling of a typical teppanyaki restaurant. The menu is comprehensive with 3 appetizers, a sashimi special, 5 mains, soup, fried rice, and desserts. Chef Fat prepared all the dishes delicately and explained in detail the ingredients, the way he cooked, and special things to note when we try each dish. Teppanyaki - Ise Ebi: The chef seared the lobster meat to perfection, resulting in incredibly springy and flavorful meat. The best part is the accompanying lobster sauce, savory and delicious, even the spinach at the bottom is infused with its essence – so satisfying! Alaskan King Crab: This dish also deserves special mention as King Crab is usually steamed or served chilled, but this time the chef prepared it in a "typhoon shelter style." The garlicky flavor and slight spiciness completely permeated the sweet and fresh crab meat, making it incredibly flavorful – a truly delightful surprise. Jumbo Scallop: This is also worth a mention, as one may think that a scallop is just a scallop, and it is a common dish. But Chef Fat added some shredded red pepper to bring out the umami and flavor of the scallop. The sauce was so fresh and tasty that I drank every drop of it. All in all, a lovely place for a heart-warming dinner with superb dishes that were both food and pieces of art. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: HK$500+ Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
