I recently visited Zenmaru in Chiang Mai and honestly, it feels like a hidden gem for Japanese food lovers. The restaurant is quite small and cozy, which gives it a relaxed and intimate atmosphere—perfect for a quiet meal with family or friends. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the service was smooth. What impressed me the most was the food quality. The sushi and sashimi were very fresh, and the portions were generous compared to many other places. The salmon sashimi was especially good—thick, fresh, and full of flavor. Their sushi rolls are also worth trying, with creative combinations and rich taste.  Another highlight is the price. For the quality you get, it’s very reasonable. You can enjoy a satisfying meal without feeling like you overspent.  Overall, Zenmaru is a great spot if you’re looking for delicious Japanese food in Chiang Mai with a cozy vibe and good value. The food there was delicious, and the service was great. The only problem is the pork rice bowl only several slices of meat on it, next time I will just order the sushi, yummy! Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

I love this place. It is simple, that's what I can say about this restaurant. It can be sounding too easy, however, I gotta tell you this is the restaurant you must try if you agree below. Small, quite, kind and friendly, excellent quality of food, excellent service. In my preferences, I generally avoid big large places. I prefer quiet rather than chatting noise or music. Always appreciate gentle kind staffs. After all, the food has to be clean first then taste. This restaurant checks all my boxes.
