和食系のお店値段もそこそこ高級だが、何を食べても美味しいので接待などでは安心して使えるお店です。ツマミ系は頼んでいないので判りません。

Zuma Hong Kong remains one of the city’s most dependable dining institutions. The décor may not have evolved dramatically over the years, but the restaurant’s real strength has always been its consistency — and on this visit, the food was as polished and assured as ever. The soft-shell crab roll was particularly good, with a delicate crispness and a well-judged balance of flavour. The prawn tempura with chilli mayonnaise was equally successful: light, clean and crisp, with just enough richness from the sauce without overwhelming the prawns. The robata section was arguably the strongest part of the meal. The octopus was beautifully handled, tender with a subtle smokiness and excellent char, while the beef was outstanding — deeply flavoured, succulent and precisely cooked. The room had a relaxed energy earlier in the evening before gradually filling up, and as the night progressed, the familiar Zuma atmosphere began to build. Lively, sophisticated and buzzy, but still comfortable enough to enjoy the meal properly. Service was attentive and polished throughout, with good pacing and an instinctive understanding of when to engage and when to leave the table alone. Zuma may no longer feel like the newest dining room in Hong Kong, but that is almost beside the point. What it continues to offer is consistency, confident cooking and a level of refinement that many newer restaurants struggle to sustain. Still a very enjoyable place to dine, and one that remains firmly relevant. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
