This spot offers a convincing Korean street food experience, with decor and seating that genuinely evoke a Seoul market stall. The food is hearty and well-suited for colder weather. The Spicy Chicken & Noodle Stew was a highlight. Served bubbling on a portable stove, it allowed us to cook the noodles and vegetables at our table, which kept everything perfectly hot and fresh. The flavors were robust and comforting. The Korean Fried Chicken (Half & Half) was also impressive. The portion was very generous, easily enough for three to four people. The chicken itself was tender and the batter was light and crispy. The accompanying pickled radish was a classic, authentic touch. We enjoyed the Cheesy Tteokbokki, which delivered the expected gooey, stretchy cheese and chewy rice cakes. The Deep-Fried Cheese Sticks were simple but enjoyable, served piping hot with a satisfying cheese pull. Overall, the restaurant successfully delivers familiar Korean street food staples in a lively, thematic setting. The dishes were executed well, particularly the stew and fried chicken.
