The le pain bakery & pastry is a nice French bakery with a large selection of baked goods such as ecklairs, croissants, tartlets and much more. There are also fresh baguettes and breads, both of which are delicious. For Thailand, this bakery is a real stroke of luck because the bread here actually tastes French with a crispy crust and soft dough in the middle. If you're here early in the morning, there's still plenty to choose from. By lunchtime and in the afternoon, many of the items are already sold out. As a German, I can only recommend this bakery if you are looking for European pastries. Nevertheless, I have to say that "The Boulangere" (another Franconian bakery in Chalong) is still my number 1 bakery for good bread in Phuket. Closely followed by "Le Pain".
