Very disappointing experience with Luckin Coffee at Changi City Point. I placed a self-pickup order via the app on 25 April around 11:30am and payment went through successfully. When I arrived, the staff had no record of my order and later told me it had been cancelled — despite me being charged. Instead of resolving it quickly, I was asked to show multiple proofs (email, banking app, etc.), which was frustrating enough. What made it worse was that after checking with a senior staff, I was simply told to reorder and wait for a refund to be handled “backend”. I had already explained that I was rushing to pick up my son from training, but there was zero urgency or empathy from the team — just smiles and no real help. Had no choice but to reorder and rush off. Until now, I have not received any refund. The whole point of using the app is convenience, but this experience was the complete opposite. Service recovery was poorly handled, and blaming the app for being “buggy” is not professional. Hope Luckin improves both their system reliability and staff training. i love coming here to relax and have a cup of coffee but the staff here keeps talking very loudly and laughing at the top of their lungs. even with my headphones on it is very distracting and pretty much destroys the atmosphere. i’m all for a fun and lively shift experience but this is public nuisance at this rate.
