The 生煎包 was overall quite well done - not too oily, no strong porky smell, good balanced meat to skin ratio, and the base has a nice thin crispy char. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $1–10

Chanced upon this shop 中国大包，so I decided to try their pancakes. 猪肉大饼 Pork Pancake - Filled with minced pork, chives and garlic. Nothing special, taste normal, a bit sourish, flour was too thick. I have eaten better Chinese pancakes elsewhere. 葱油饼 Green Onion Pancake - Advice to avoid this, it is purely flour, just a few small slices of green Onion. I can't even taste or smell green Onions. It's totally different from what I had in China. You can get better 葱油饼 from Chinatown. It's a disappointment.
