Stop saying Hong Kong's restaurants are stagnant! I've been back twice since my last visit in January, and I've tried the new menu twice in six months. Even Hong Kong-style cafes are getting innovative! LoLai Cafe has released a new fitness-friendly item, solving the dilemma of what to order at a cafe for those trying to lose weight. The Protein series features flavorful spiced chicken breast chunks on a lettuce base with a fried egg. This time, I'm not dieting or eating a fitness meal, so of course I had to try the new Black Sesame Cream Toast! It was incredibly satisfying. The toast is covered in black sesame powder, topped with a scoop of melting ice cream, and even the inside of the toast has black sesame seeds. One bite and the aroma explodes, and importantly, it's not too sweet! A big thumbs up! Has anyone tried the rice noodles? It's like a version of rice vermicelli, surprisingly delicious with lots of minced chicken, served with satay sauce. Those who love noodles or rice vermicelli should love it! LLC Black Pepper Mushroom Sauce Chicken Leg Rice – I reckon even a little girl couldn't finish one serving, the portion is huge! The black pepper sauce is a classic KFC-style flavor, you know what I mean. Anyway, eating at LoLai cafe (Mong Kok Soy Street) is a guaranteed way to satisfy. you can eat your fill of delicious and satisfying food, and it's the kind of satisfying and comforting experience you get. You can find all the classic Hong Kong-style tea restaurant memories here (receipt at the end for reference). Finally, let me say this: if you're not on a diet, please go try the Black Sesame Milk Tea! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
