Highly recommend Kinzakaya for anyone who loves sea urchin and foie gras! Sea Urchin Crispy Nori Tempura, Caramel Foie Gras Crispy Nori Tempura, and Grilled Rightmouth Fish Fin Crispy Nori Tempura – are absolutely worth trying. Don't miss the Golden Dragon Roll (pickled yolk, sea urchin minced tuna sushi roll) either. All ingredients are fresh and beautifully presented. The izakaya has counter seats, booths, tatami rooms, and a great sake selection. Remember to book ahead! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Second time at this hot izakaya in Lai Chi Kok. Tried the thousand-layer crispy series – sea urchin was fresh and sweet, caramel foie gras had a nice burnt sugar finish, and the seared right-eye fish was rich in oil. The golden cup came packed with crab roe, salmon roe, and minced toro. Finished with the “man don” – sea urchin, foie gras, and salmon roe together, no fishy taste. Portions are generous. Better book ahead. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $500+ Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
