Great quality of ingredients and generous servings. Just look at the photo. However the atmosphere is clearly more casual compared to traditional Japanese sushiyas. There were guests wearing strong perfume and talking loudly amongst themselves. Overall a great place for high quality sushi in Singapore. Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Already my second time there . Finally found a reason not to fly to Japan — probably the best shari I’ve had in Singapore. Flew in from Shanghai just to try this “Beijing sushi,” and somehow it took me a month to get here. Worth it. The style is clean and restrained, really letting the ingredients shine — perfect for Singapore weather when anything heavy feels like too much. The rice (shari) is the star: nicely seasoned with a bright acidity, distinct grains, perfect moisture, and spot-on temperature. Not falling apart, not too cold — just the right balance with the fish. Easily my favorite so far. MVP of the day: Aji. No explanation needed — insane flavor and fat, genuinely memorable. Started strong with a negutoro that already told me this meal was going to be good. Tuna trio was solid — especially the marinated maguro with great balance. Even dishes I usually avoid (like marinated botan ebi) somehow worked here. Only downside: lunch pacing was fast. Finished the whole omakase in about an hour — barely enough time for a drink or two. ~$1200 — but hey, saved a flight to Japan. Not complaining.
