Other than the basement location, there is nothing I can say bad about the restaurant, food, service. Amazing Nordic-Asian food. Loved every single dishes. Will definitely come back again and again and again. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

My husband and I came here for dinner on a Thursday evening in May. We had an amazing dining experience with Chef Kim and his team, who put together a scrumptious menu that was thoughtfully crafted from beginning to end. The ingredients were incredibly fresh and the dessert course had a special touch as they added a 'Happy Birthday' sign for me to celebrate my birthday. Throughout the dinner, either Chef Kim or his front-of-house staff would patiently explain the idea/ vision behind the course that was being served, which added so much depth to every mouthful. We enjoyed all the courses, and highly recommend Mater. My favourite was the abalone course, something that I will never forget - it was brilliant! When in Seoul in the future, we would revisit again without a doubt. I look forward to other genius creations that Mater will birth.
