I've always been a huge fan of s, of all kinds of s from everywhere in the world. In , unfortunately, Asian s are very expensive for what they are. And the quality is not always good. So I decided I would make the most of my trip to Asia and eat as many s as possible. Good news: our son s s too! In Ikseon-dong Hanok village, I spotted a place called Bukchon Son-mandu (@bukchon_smd). There you have to love s cause there's nothing else! The place is not cozy at all and I can't say you sit comfortably there. This is not a place for a date. Well, I hadn't realized that yet but, apparently (and correct me if I'm wrong), people don't eat out for dates. When you enter a restaurant, you're expected to know what you want, order, eat, pay and leave. And that's not different there, so the service is minimal. What I d about the place is that they cook the s in front of the restaurant, on the street. I'm not sure about hygiene conditions (and I don't care, TBH), but I d watching that and smelling the fresh s while I was waiting for our order. We ordered a few different s, most of them steamed and some other fried. I d all the steamed ones but the fried one not so much. I knew I would not like the fried ones as much as the other ones but I ordered them cause our son doesn't like nor and we ran out of options. The 3 of us ate for KRW 26.5K (about €20). That's not super cheap for Seoul (based on my short experience) but compared to that's a bargain. Quality & taste: 8/10. Quantities: 8/10. Atmosphere: 5/10. Originality: 6/10. Ratio price / quality: 7/10. Service: 5/10. How I felt afterwards: 8/10. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₩1–10,000
