Without a doubt, the BEST place in Korea for Hanwoo beef chadolbaegi (beef brisket)!!! No. 1! Honestly, the chadolbaegi and yukhoe (beef tartare) are the real stars here. The rest of the menu is just okay. The cucumber salad and fresh green chili peppers are also surprisingly delicious. But personally, I’d say this place is the undisputed No. 1 for chadolbaegi, so I’m not even sure you need to order anything else. If you ever come to Korea, you absolutely HAVE to try this place!! They grill thick, high quality Hanwoo chadolbaegi on a hot pan, bringing out all that incredible richness and nuttiness. Then dip it lightly in salt, and you get that unmistakable aroma and deep flavor of premium Hanwoo beef... At that point, a somaek (soju + beer) just naturally follows. Pungseongjip my personal No. 1 for Hanwoo chadolbaegi in Korea!
