With Hojokban (호족반) possibly opening up its first location in Los Angeles, I decided to give a brief review of their menu in Korea. Hojokban offers a modern twist on Korean comfort foods like fried rice (볶음밥), galbi (갈비), rice balls (주먹밥) and pork jowl (수육). The food itself is quite good. I ordered their Cheongdam Rice Balls and Garlic Pork Jowl. Their pork jowl is quite tender and the rice balls are quite decent as well. If you are looking for an elevated Korean dining experience, I would recommend checking them out. Do note though that you can find good Korean food for a fraction of the cost at other establishments. Price per person: ₩30,000–40,000 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
