I had one of the most disrespectful experiences ever at Hyojababe. When I tried to enter, the staff made it obvious they didn’t want foreigners. Instead of offering any explanation, they gave me a nasty attitude and immediately made a huge X sign with their arms to tell me “No,” as if I was some kind of threat. Right after that, they literally shut the door in my face, like I was carrying some sort of disease. No words, no courtesy — just rude, dismissive behavior that left me shocked and embarrassed. If you’re a foreign visitor, I strongly recommend avoiding this place. There are countless amazing restaurants in Korea where you’ll be treated like a human being, not pushed away with hand signs and slammed doors. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
