I stumbled upon this lovely Japanese restaurant while browsing Google Maps and decided to stop by for lunch and I’m really glad I did. I was warmly greeted and seated at the counter, which had a charming, old-school feel. Ordering was simple via QR code, but what truly stood out was the experience of watching the owners prepare the food right in front of me. It added a personal and authentic touch that you don’t often find. I ordered the assorted sushi set and the ground beef curry rice, both of which were highly recommended in the reviews and they absolutely lived up to the hype. The flavors were spot on, fresh, and satisfying. I also appreciated the option to adjust the spice level, which made the curry even more enjoyable. Overall, a fantastic experience with delicious, authentic Japanese food at a very reasonable price. The friendly service and genuine atmosphere made it even better. I’ll definitely be back to try more dishes. Highly recommended if you’re in the area and looking for quality Japanese cuisine! The curry was too watery and not very intense in flavour like other, also portion kinda small while ebi fried kinda hard to chew. Not impress to travel to try, but if you are local or live around there would be okayish. Meal type: Brunch Price per person: ฿1–200 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

A hidden Japanese restaurant around Chatuchak — this is my second visit already! If you want to be sure you get a seat, I recommend calling to reserve in advance. The highlight is the huge minced beef patty topped with Japanese curry — super filling. Since it’s an open kitchen, your hair may smell like food, but you can ask the staff for a plastic hair cover.
