Hi Weiling, our waffle batter are homemade fresh daily and prepared in-house. If it has issues, you could bring it back to us to investigate. Thank you.

I recently moved to the area and decided to try out Daily Fresh. Unfortunately, my first visit turned out to be a very disappointing experience. While at the cashier counter to pay for a tray of buns, my toddler, in an innocent attempt to help, accidentally broke a plastic lid. It happened in a split second — I heard a thud, saw the broken lid, and immediately apologized to the staff. To my surprise, the shop owner responded in a very hostile manner. Instead of accepting my apology, she repeatedly chided me for not holding onto my child’s hand and that I have to pay her $10 for the broken lid. She compared me to herself, saying she always holds her child’s hand — something I found extremely judgmental and unnecessary. What upset me further was being charged $10 for the broken lid, allegedly for a replacement and someone to "fix" it — though ironically, I noticed several other broken lids already patched up with scotch tape. There were no signs stating a fee for damages, and I couldn’t help but feel the charge was arbitrary and opportunistic. I sincerely regret the accident and understand if a fee is needed, but the lack of professionalism, the harsh treatment, and the unexplained charge left me feeling humiliated and taken advantage of. It’s a real shame because I had looked forward to supporting a local bakery in my new neighbourhood. The buns were awfully dry, very unlike other local bakeries with similar price points. Sadly, this was my first and last visit to Daily Fresh. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $1–10 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Hi, we have reviewed the CCTV footage which happened on 16/07/2025 10:20AM and made it very clear and informed you to look after your child BEFORE the incident happened. We would gladly not take the $10 and have you replace the broken lid, which costs more than $10 as they are custom.
