My favourite place to get coffee in Hong Kong hands down. Their coffees are always consistent and showcases the delicate flavour profiles of the beans. The team here is welcoming, thoughtful, and down-to-earth. I love ordering their warm salad, depending on seasonality of ingredients, it can differ visit to visit. This time the cooking felt a little rushed with high heat, causing the veggies to be more charred and the chicken dry. Carbonara is savoury and tangy, though a little runny, would love to see a little more care put into the presentation. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $150–200 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A.B.C.P (A Basic Coffee Production) is a simple coffee shop, tucked away on tiny Ming Yan Lane, along Tai Wong Street East in Wanchai. They have a small indoor seating area, couple seats outside and are open from 9am to 6pm daily. They have a small food menu of dishes they can prepare and some desserts that you can enjoy with coffee orders. I usually find A.B.C.P rather full up when passing by so have only done take-away orders from here so far. To be fair, their espresso is nice and they prepare a good piccolo (white coffee) both of which go very well with tarts and pastries from nearby bakehouse. Am looking forward to a sit down visit to A.B.C.P eventually so I can try a hand drip coffee here as well. Meal type: Other Price per person: $50–100 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
