Baker & Cook Dempsey is an easy choice for an unhurried family breakfast or brunch. We tried the Fully Loaded Chicken Sandwich, Eggs Benedict with sautéed mushroom, and Simply Scrambled Eggs ... all enjoyable, with the coffee being a particular highlight. The relaxed setting works especially well with children, and the ice cream made for a fitting end to the morning. A welcoming spot for dependable café fare, good coffee and a laid-back morning amid Dempsey’s greenery. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Such a lovely café! The staff are so kind and friendly. I came here every day while my daughter was attending a nearby summer camp, and it quickly became my favorite place to spend a peaceful morning. The café has a nice indoor area with high ceilings and spacious outdoor seating area. I loved relaxing while looking out at all the greenery—it has such a peaceful atmosphere. The cappuccino was excellent, and the pastries and desserts were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend! Meal type: Breakfast Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Baker & Cook - Dempsey Hill serves tasty food, but what truly sets it apart is the people. While we were dealing with the loss of our cat on-site for 11 days, the team welcomed us to use a quiet corner as our ops center without hesitation. They let us put up posters, search around the grounds, and do whatever we could within reason. There was never a complaint, only steady support. Pavi and the team were generous, patient, and fully bought in. They even spent their own breaks helping us look for our cat. A nice restaurant made exceptional by deeply caring human staff. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
