チャイナタウンの喧騒から少し離れた、とてもおすすめのカフェです!コーヒーも美味しいですし、歴史ある重要な製薬会社のMuseumに併設されていて、ユニークです。

Greetings to everyone and the many who contact me and then me for my unfiltered honest reviews of places I've visited. The Berlin museum cafe was a quick refreshment stop on an otherwise crazily hot walk through Bangkoks Chinatown. As I entered off the street, Ai was met by some well needed cool air after the intense humidity of outside. Smiling faces greeted me as I was the only customer at that time, which was about midday. I plumped for a pot of hot Earl Grey tea, and at 75 baht, this was a pleasant surprise. I was a little peckish so after a look at the overhead menu, decided a slice of Orange Cake would go down well. Sadly, there was none available, so, no matter, I'll substitute my choice with a piece of Chocolate cake instead, again, none available I was politely told. One look at the cabinet that usually housed said confectionary, to see only a few croissants sitting forlornly alone and covered in clingfilm made me realise, a lack of business foresight was not what the owner had. She preffered to sit on her own at a table looking at her cell phone. If you own and run a cafe, on a hugely busy street, with a tremendous amount of footfall walking past, and right next door to the Berlin Museum, surely you should, at the very least, have for sale, what is on the permanent menu above the counter.?. The Twinungs Earl Grey as I know and enjoy was excellent, and obviously the staff only added hot water, but it was served in a glass teapot, with a small cinnamon stick that I dropped into the teapot for some tasty added flavour. It was an ok experience, nothing that will makee return, and of the owner reads this, do yourself a HUGE favour and make the confectionery cabinet much more appealing and actually HAVE cake available to sell, but DON'T wrap it in clingfilm.
