和食からインスピレーションを受けたようですが、味がオーストラリアやニュージーランドでよく見る和風のラストランに似ていて、期待外れでした。食事の量が少ないわりに価格が高く、街では安くて美味しいタイ料理がたくさんあるので、日本人ならわざわざ訪れる価値はないと思います。「とうしても和風が欲しい」という外国の方のであれば、ここがいいかもしれません。. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: ฿1,000+

The food was decent without considering the price, I wouldn't call it value for money, however. The service was disappointing and ruined the experience and expectations of the restaurant. 1. Our group asked the waitress twice to confirm if the "fish and chips" were enough for one person. She said yes, only for us to receive raw fish on a potato dish. Im unable to eat raw food and was extremely concerned when it appeared. 2. Also, calling the dish fish and chips from a restaurant experience POV is a bad decision. Chips (I.e. a plural word) suggests multiple pieces and a whole meal. No, it was a tiny raw piece of fish on a medallion. 3. Poor menu design (I.e. information layout). For many tourists our data plans are often spotty making it hard to load images on the tiny QR code on the page. Menu categories were hard to discern in poor lighting and there was zero indication in the menu of the exact ingredients each dish used. Similarly I'd really suggest including the portion size (e.g. Feeds 1, 2,etc.) to avoid any miscommunication. It seems like the restaurant intends to cater to tourists but does a bad job at doing so with small details like this especially given the language barrier. 4. Coming back to service experience, it was a bit disheartening the waitress refused to acknowledge that she did tell us twice the fish and chips were enough for one person to eat. Perhaps its a language barrier, but for the prices and setting, many would expect better service recovery. To HEH's credit, her manager handled the recovery better, but having to deal with a waitress first misrepresenting how large the tiny fish and (single) chip was, and her rolling her eyes when we raised our concerns affected our experience. I recommend the restaurant to train service staff to do basic things to avoid miscommunication, like ensuring tourists guests fully understand the size and portions, and taking initiative to intervene if it seems like they aren't ordering enough. Our group left hungry sadly as we didnt want to order more after the disappointment seeing the dish and poor servicing by the waitress. Service is as important as the food. That said, the food we did eat IS delicious. I just hope improvements to the menu design, service and overall presentation of the restaurant concept improves so that bad first impressions dont hamper the overall experience!
