Finding an authentic Swiss restaurant in Hong Kong is no easy task, but Chesa easily takes the crown. We recently tried their new set lunch, and at $390 for 2 courses or $450 for 3, the value is incredible for the quality and portion sizes—we left completely stuffed! Starters: Upgrading to the crab meat pancake was the absolute best decision. It was packed with fresh crab and served with a rich sauce reminiscent of lobster bisque, yet balanced enough for one person. My friends also loved the leek salad—refreshing and packed with flavor. Mains: The quality really surprised us. The salmon was perfectly tender, the chicken was well-marinated and succulent, and the risotto absorbed every bit of seafood goodness. The star was the spätzle accompanying the beef: crispy on the outside, delightfully chewy inside, and perfectly paired with savory bacon. Mind-blowing! Dessert: Even though we were full, we couldn't skip the Mont Blanc. The addition of blackcurrant gave it a light, tangy lift that cut right through the richness of the meal. I’m usually not a Mont Blanc fan, but we polished off the entire plate. Verdict: Highly recommend Chesa! It’s far more than just a fondue spot—their set lunch offers some of the best value in town.
