Cocktails and steak frites galore! Started with pre-dinner drinks at the charming Cygnet Bar. Then paired oysters with Moet bubbly. We had the tender ribeye and sirloin with unlimited servings of fries. What a fantastic way to spend a Friday evening with friends. Attentive serving staff were making sure the fries kept coming! Highly recommend this beautiful and cosy restaurant. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: SGD 70–80 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I want to gatekeep this place sia but i want them to get more business so we can keep coming back. Great value for money & vibes! We got the steak frites buffet during lunch - 'lowest tier' yet it was so flavorful, my wife who typically isnt a big fan of steak had 2 servings. Japanese oysters for a dollar, damm buss. Service was professional & warm, place was clean and classy. Will be back & yall will be too after yall try! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: SGD 70–80 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

went to cygnet again after having such a good experience there last year and honestly im quite sad because i was really looking forward to going back. last time we went for the $1 oysters and even though the oysters were small i actually really enjoyed them because the texture was much easier for me to eat and everything that night was genuinely so good. the steak and burger were nice, the fries and steak sauce were separated so the fries didnt get soggy, and one of the servers even came over to introduce us to 3 different sauces we could choose from which made the whole experience feel really thoughtful and memorable. this time the service crew was honestly still really nice and attentive and the lady manager during billing was really kind as well. she told me that if i had informed them earlier about the fries they couldve changed it for me, which i appreciated, and honestly thats partially my fault because i only really realised how salty everything became halfway through eating and by then i didnt really want to raise it up anymore but food wise i was honestly quite disappointed compared to before. the oysters were huge compared to the last time we came and i genuinely cannot take very big oysters because the texture becomes too jelly/slimy for me and my stomach cannot handle it. after trying a few both my boyfriend and i agreed there was a weird aftertaste and we physically couldnt continue eating them anymore even though we tried. we ended up leaving some behind which we almost never do. the fries were also really salty and because they were plated directly beside the steak sauce the salt kind of mixed into the sauce and made the steak taste super salty too. at first i couldnt even tell whether the issue was the fries or the steak because everything started tasting salty together. overall i still appreciate how nice the service staff were and i dont think the experience was terrible or anything. i think im just extra disappointed because our first visit was genuinely so memorable and good that i came back expecting the same experience again Meal type: Dinner Price per person: SGD 60–70 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
