Sorry for the late review! I visited during my trip last December, and the food was honestly amazing. Everything looked gorgeous, but I’m terrible at taking photos and couldn’t capture how good it actually was. It definitely tastes way better than it looks in my pictures. This place was recommended by the Foodie Awards, and it totally makes sense. You can really tell how fresh the ingredients meat and the vegetables—and the flavors are very authentic. I enjoyed it so much that I came back several times during the trip. The menu has a lot of options, and I don’t think you can go wrong trying anything. I personally loved the Kimchi jjigae, Seafood jeon, Galbi, and galbitang. Highly recommend! And lastly, the marinated beef is an absolute must. Seriously—don’t skip it. 100% recommended. Very good value lunch sets. Had the spicy pork set with 6 banchans and all tasty Recommend this if after a reasonable Korean meal. The kimchi was very nice and pork lean. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: HK$100–150 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Had dinner at Da Hwa Won in Sheung Wan and shared their amazing hot pot. Portions were very generous – definitely one of those meals where no one leaves hungry. Great value for money. The restaurant itself isn’t the most charming and it was freezing when we first arrived, but once they turned off the aircon it was at least more comfortable. Overall, if you’re looking for a hearty Korean hot pot at a good price (and don’t mind a simple setting), this is a solid choice.
