Moyo on Aberdeen Street is a great spot if you are visiting the SoHo area of Hong Kong. The food feels playful and well judged, with bold flavours that still feel balanced, and the menu has a few dishes that are genuinely worth going back for. The must-orders for me are the carbonara rice cakes, the beef tartare, and the Korean fried chicken. The rice cakes are rich and indulgent in the best way, the tartare is beautifully seasoned, and the fried chicken is crisp, juicy, and seriously satisfying. One tip: order the half portion of the chicken, because it is still very generous. They also serve really nice makgeolli, which pairs well with the food and is well worth trying. On top of that, the staff are very friendly and helpful, which makes the whole experience feel even better. Definitely one to book in advance though, as they are popular and reservations are a very good idea.
