Had an awesome TGIF dinner at Daily Chicken (Bugis Junction) last evening... Reached around 6plus in the evening and there was already a queue of close to 10 pax. Got to try complimentary black or red chicken gangjeong skewers (there were served hot & really yummy ) while waiting in line before we got our table (a nice comfy yellow banquet seating ) after 15 minutes or so. The full house restaurant was buzzing with their service staff delivering endless plates of fried chicken, noodles & drinks to the evening dinner diners all around us We had already ordered when we got to the front of the queue line & our drinks were quickly served Our drink choice of Green Plum Ade was sourishly refreshing & very soon our 2 chicken order of Gangjeong Red (served with rice cakes & pop dumplings), Original Half Chicken (Bone) & Fried Tofu Gimbap (served with spicy kimchi) came. Both the chicken dishes were delicious ..the tangy sweet spicy Gangjeong Red was tender & very addictive once you started on 1 . The sticky chewy rice cakes added a nice bite to the chicken but the pop dumpling was a tad dry to the taste (will pick Sweet Potato or Potato Wedges option next round).. The original fried chicken (emitting hot piping steam as you tore up the meat) was moist with a nice crunchy skin & was good to eat on on its own (there was a side dip sauce that came with it). The Fried Tofu Gimbap was super yummy paired with the warm spicy stir fried kimchi We ordered a Crispy Pastry Honey Hotteok for dessert to wrap our meal... the huge hotteok was super crispy (maybe better if just slightly less oily) with a generous filling of brown sugar/ honey with a light taste of cinnamon power Our TGIF dinner was complete & we left fully satiated with plans to come back soon to try Daily Chicken's other tempting chimaek menu items Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
