Authentic Thai flavours, halal-certified, Galangal at Bishan Clubhouse is definitely worth a visit! Named after the aromatic galangal root, the restaurant brings traditional Thai recipes to the table with bold, comforting flavours. Here’s what we tried: Steamed Fish with Thai Spicy Chilli (Limited Time Special) – Fresh seabass topped with their homemade spicy chilli sauce. Fried Chicken with Thai Chili Sauce – Tender, crispy boneless chicken coated in a delicious sweet-spicy Thai chilli sauce. Seafood Red Tom Yum Soup – Flavourful, spicy, tangy and loaded with seafood. Stir-Fried Prawn & Squid with Thai Chilli – Succulent seafood tossed in a spicy, tangy Thai chilli sauce that’s incredibly addictive. Green Mango Salad – Refreshingly tangy with the perfect balance of sweet, sour and spicy. Thai Prawn Cakes – Packed with juicy prawn goodness. Lovely environment, great service and yummy food. The portions were generous, esp the sambal kangkong, honey garlic chicken, steamed fish, mango salad, Tom yum soup and red curry. Service staff was attention and made us feel at ease. Galangal Thai Cuisine is a must-visit for authentic Thai food lovers! We loved everything we tried, especially the Clear Seafood Tom Yum, Pad Thai, Prawn Cake, and Sweet Potato Leaves — all highly recommended.
