A Second Bowl, Same Legendary Taste This was my second time having Ichiran Ramen — my first was at their multi-story HQ in Fukuoka, Japan and this time I visited the Taipei Second Branch. Despite being in a different country, the quality was exactly how I remembered it: rich, flavorful tonkotsu broth, perfectly firm noodles, and that satisfying kick from their signature spicy red sauce. The egg and extra pork slices were worth the add-on! The vibe is still that unique Ichiran solo-booth experience, designed to help you focus purely on the ramen — no distractions. Service was quick and efficient, but just like any popular spot, the queue was super long. We had to wait until late at night to get in, but honestly? Totally worth it. If you’re a ramen lover visiting Taipei, this place should definitely be on your list. Ichiran Taipei Second Branch. Price: Around NTD 200–400. Tip: Go on off-peak hours to skip the long wait!
