Still thinking about the scallops I had at Ingleside last night. Really nice dining experience and unique concept they have going, not so much about the ageing and wood fire but I like their exploration of fermentation in the dishes. Cosy vibes, great for date nights, and liked that their wood fire chamber is in full view. We had their Hokkaido scallops, Koji Squid for entrees and Iberico Presa and Rockfish for mains. Love the scallops, clean and slight brininess which brings out the full flavour. Iberico presa was done very well with a complementary morel sauce. We lost track of time talking and didn’t realise we were the last table standing but staff were super nice and didn’t stress us on leaving. Great night overall, with good food and wine. Prices are slightly on the higher end though.

Desserts and wine were fantastic! Starters/ appetisers/ desserts were nicer than the mains. We sent back the wagyu because it was wayy too salty like seawater to the point where you couldnt even taste beef. The redone ones were so much better. The other non-wagyu beef option was very nice as well. Fish was so-so. Service was great. Would come back for desserts and starters! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: SGD 100+ Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A truly memorable dining experience with impressive use of wood fire cooking, dry ageing and fermentation throughout the meal. We especially loved the in-house Fermented Ginger Spritz and the Huitre de Céline N1 oysters with sake-ponzu jelly and shiso, which were bursting with umami flavours. The Wagyu Tartare was rich and deeply savoury, while the dry-aged Channel Rockfish stood out with its crispy exterior and tender flesh. Also thoroughly enjoyed the Tajima Wagyu Picanha—definitely a restaurant we would gladly return to again. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: SGD 100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
