Hands down the best western barbeque I’ve had in Singapore - varied assortment of meats and cuts, impeccable flavour and texture, and side dishes that wet your appetite. More importantly, five-star hospitality that warms your soul and which leaves you feeling just a little bit fuller than when you first stepped in. We had a very good home-based dining experience at Jim’s Grill. What stood out was that the food was properly done, not just generous. The meats were not the only highlight - but the ribs were tender, smoky and well-glazed, and the beef had a good char while still being cooked nicely inside. The sides were also thoughtfully prepared, especially the grilled corn with kombu (corn was so sweet), salad and chimichurri, which helped balance the richness of the meat. There was a yuzu mint ice shot at the end of the meal which was a perfect close. The setting was casual and personal, but still felt considered. Service was warm without being overbearing, and the pacing of the meal was comfortable. You can tell there is real effort behind the cooking and hosting. Overall, a sincere and well-executed dining experience. I would recommend Jim’s Grill to anyone who enjoys hearty grilled meats and a more intimate home-dining setting. The beef short ribs, roasted pork and roasted corn were so delicious! My guests and I were so busy tucking in to the food that we forgotten to take photos! Jim takes pride in ensuring that the food were cooked well. My guests were still raving about the food the next day! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Delivery Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $80–90
