Incredible food, every dish was a hit. Teriyaki chicken Don is usually tastes the same but the rice here was phenomenal. So good that both kids fought over it. The furikake was magical, and the chicken was so tender. Ramen broth was spectacular!!! Sashimi was super thick and fresh as well. And the mochi was a perfect finisher. Meal type: Brunch Price per person: SGD 10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Extremely good japanese food, quality and value for money. Their truffle ramen is a must try!! so fragrant, they don’t skim on quality. Noodles were springy and broth is flavourful. Mentaiko Tamago is also a must try, the eggs are not dry at all. Super moist and mentaiko was legit. Many shops put more mayo to mentaiko ratio but they put more mentaiko Salmon sashimi was extremely fresh as well. The owner was super friendly and hospitable i really hope that there’s more support in local businesses that do food right! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Today, Janson and I decided to try out the food at Kiiro-San, a cozy Japanese restaurant located in the heart of Fortune Centre. We had heard good things about it, and with our love for Japanese cuisine, we couldn’t wait to dig in. When we walked in, a friendly girl greeted us with a warm smile. She was quick to introduce us to the menu and excitedly told us how most of the sauces were handmade, prepared with care and passion. It made the whole experience feel even more special, knowing the food was crafted with such attention to detail. I was in the mood for something hearty, so I ordered the Unagi Don for $11.80. The tender grilled eel, glazed with a sweet and savory sauce, sat perfectly atop a bowl of steaming white rice. The combination of the smoky, rich eel and the soft rice was everything I’d hoped for simple, comforting, and delicious. The handmade eel sauce gave it that extra layer of depth that made it stand out. Janson, on the other hand, was craving something with a bit of a spicy kick. He went for the Chicken Curry Don for $7.80. The chicken was tender and covered in a flavorful curry sauce that wasn’t too overpowering but still packed with just the right amount of warmth. He couldn’t stop praising how satisfying it was, especially with the rice soaking up all that curry goodness. The girl had mentioned the curry sauce was also handmade, and it truly made a difference it was rich and full of flavor. The only downside was that the portions were a bit on the small side. We wished there were two portion sizes to choose from one for those who want a light meal and another for those with bigger appetites. That way, everyone could leave feeling fully satisfied. Despite that, we both agreed that Kiiro-San was a place we’d definitely return to not just for the delicious food and handmade sauces but for the simple pleasure of sharing a meal with a good friend.
