Nestled within Amoy Street Food Centre, Lian Hup Heng is a hidden gem offering artisanal pastries at wallet-friendly prices. From their signature Orh Nee Tart filled with smooth yam paste and topped with a ginkgo nut, to the tangy Lemon Meringue Tart crowned with a crisp meringue cookie, each treat is crafted to delight your taste buds. I fell in love with the Lemon Meringue Tart at one bite. This is simply irresistible, I love the crisp, buttery tart shell that cradles a luscious, tangy lemon curd, not forgetting it was topped with a cloud-like, toasted meringue that melts in your mouth. To me, there’s a contrast between the zesty citrus filling and the sweet, airy meringue creates a symphony of flavors that’s simply irresistible. Thank you for baking such a lovely tart!
