Hidden gem bar serving well elaborated cocktails with unusual combinations. A chic, relaxed vibe similar to a speakeasy. Maybe too polished for Chiang Mai but a good break from the everyday intensity. Sleek, wood panelled decor and lounge music. Great for a break and a chat. Through the non-descript door. Into the concrete hallway opening upon the atmospheric courtyard. Up the wooden stairs guided by candle light into the lobby. Loop onto the mezzanine above the street and through the last doorway. You arrive. The beautiful long wooden bar, bottles hidden below. Stark but warm. Low key and soft. Less is more. Artists at work with a classy and sophisticated drink list. With gratitude you are treated. A dance. A place to slow down and be present. Asking you to be intentional. Converse without screens. Appreciate. Savour your time at North Country. It’s very worth it. A true highlight of our time in Chiang Mai. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
