Ordered the Tauto Ramen with eggs and steamed dumplings on the side, and it definitely did not disappoint! The pulled beef was soooooo soft and flavourful, I was literally inhaling my food because it was THAT good Food came out relatively fast also, so yay! BIG shoutout to the Pakcik who was patiently answering all my kecoh questions and who made the whole experience so homely. Definitely would come back again to try the different dishes! absolute gem! though their ramen differs slightly from the original, i loved the fusion elements. the noodles are slightly doughier but the texture was great and the tauto/gulai broths were amazing. i was very impressed with how the chicken remained crispy despite being submerged in the gulai broth for a while and the beef in the tauto was so superbly seasoned, it keeps you going back for more. their food are also reasonably priced for the portion size and not jelak. overall a great place for halal ramen and japanese cuisine! Decided to check out Ono Ramen with my friends while we were in the area, especially since it’s halal. We went on a Saturday night and it wasn’t too crowded, which made for a relaxed and comfortable dining experience. The restaurant has a cosy, homely vibe that makes it a nice spot to just unwind. The elderly couple (likely the owners) were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which added a really personal touch to the visit. I ordered the Sambal Merah, which came with a mild level of spice—just enough to add a kick without being overpowering. The broth was flavourful, and the toppings were well done, especially the nicely seasoned egg and tender chicken slices. I also liked the addition of seaweed, which gave the dish a nice Indo-Japanese fusion twist. My friends tried the gulai, steamed dumplings, garang asem, and chicken karaage, and they all had good things to say about their dishes too. Overall, a pleasant, satisfying and affordable meal—definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area! Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
