I don’t usually queue for bread but the eggies are worthy the hype. They were crunchy outside and filled with tasty custard. Eggies aside, the pastry was not that impressive. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Order type: Take out Meal type: Breakfast

We visited Social Goods Modern Bakery several times for a late breakfast during our stay in Hong Kong, and every visit was outstanding. The food is not only delicious but also fresh, healthy, and beautifully prepared. It's the perfect place if you're looking for a breakfast that feels both indulgent and nourishing. What truly sets this café apart, however, is the exceptional service. On one visit, we came on a Saturday when the café was extremely busy. Despite the rush, the staff kept us informed throughout the wait, regularly updating us with realistic waiting times and the status of our table. That level of communication made the wait feel effortless. The biggest surprise came when my son accidentally dropped his entire breakfast. Within moments, staff was there to help clean everything up, reassure him, and bring him a freshly prepared replacement meal, without charging us anything extra. That kind of genuine kindness and customer care is incredibly rare. The team consistently went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I honestly wish we still received service like this more often in Europe. Thank you to everyone at Social Goods Modern Bakery for making every visit such a wonderful experience.
