Happy with most of the dishes. My aunt seems impressed, so that’s good since it was for her bday. Service varied, could be cultural differences. Overall a good experience. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $60–70

Mercure Singapore Bugis Mid-Autumn Mooncake Review Wahhh, it’s that time of the year again — MOONCAKE SEASON! I’m actually quite a picky person when it comes to food, so not every mooncake can impress me. But this year, I have to say… THIS ONE REALLY GOT ME! I tried the Classic Mixed Collection Traditional Mooncake Gift Box ($83) from Mercure Singapore Bugis, and honestly, it brought back some good memories because those who tried their mooncakes last year would probably know what I mean! Inside the elegant floral gift box , you get 4 different flavours: Low Sugar White Lotus Paste. Low Sugar White Lotus Paste with Single Egg Yolk. Low Sugar White Lotus Paste with Double Egg Yolks. Traditional Mixed Nuts (Five Nuts) What I really love is that the sweetness is not overly heavy. The white lotus paste is smooth and classic, while the salted egg yolk gives that nice savoury contrast. And if you’re someone who enjoys traditional flavours, the Five Nuts Mooncake is definitely worth trying! For me, the biggest highlight is how the mooncakes manage to keep that traditional taste without becoming too sweet or overwhelming. As a picky eater, that really matters to me! And yes… compared with many mooncakes I've tried, this is one of the best so far for me this year! The packaging is also beautifully presented, making it suitable not only for enjoying at home but also as a Mid-Autumn gift for family, friends, colleagues or business partners. Song Garden Chinese Restaurant 122 Middle Road, Level 2,. Mercure Singapore Bugis. Singapore 188973 I had booked a table for two for dimsum lunch at 11am on April 20th, 2025 Sunday morning. The Decor & Ambience ***************************. The restaurant's interior is a blend of traditional Chinese decor with modern amenities, such as comfortable plush banquette seating and clean lines, to create a pleasant dining experience. The elegant decor also features traditional Chinese elements, such as wooden accents, classic Chinese paintings and adorned with vibrant hues of red, brown and grey, all these elements creates a graceful, luxurious & warm ambience. Service = The staff were all cheerful, nice and affable. Ms May Wong, Ms Joey Law, and Ms Shen Gui Ying served us and the service quality was top notch, befitting that of a 5-star Chinese restaurant. The Food = The dimsum menu selection here has a wide array of steamed, pan-fried, and baked options that showcases the restaurant's take on traditional Cantonese cuisine. The dimsum items were well-crafted. The tiny morsels of 点心 ( dian xin) were made fresh with ingredients that gave us the best possible taste and texture. ︎The flavours of these classic Cantonese dimsum dishes were very tasty, authentic and flavourful. I read that their executive chefs who helms the kitchen hails from Hong Kong, thus, the legitimacy of the Cantonese cuisine items. Overall, my hubby and I had a pleasant time here at Song Garden. ︎The dimsum was great, the staff very friendly, and the location is an easy one to access. It is right at the downtown core of the Bugis district. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $70–80
