It's my first time trying and I find their food quite nice and tasty, albeit a little salty. Service was friendly and nice and place was kept clean and tidy. In fact, the staff was mopping away when we were there. The aunty staff told us they were closing soon and we find it quite a pity. Hope they set up another one nearby soon. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Veron Chan Wei Lun working as a part timer at Tamjai Samgor @Lot 1 outlet is a very nice, friendly, kind hearted and patience young guy because I am having my late lunch around 430pm on a weekday alone so I literally observe how he stands in a very humble manner with his hands place right in front of himself so I actually wave to him and ask him to come over and we did have a short conversation and it was only then that I realise it’s his first day working at this restaurant and that he is a Malaysian guy coming to Singapore to earn a salary back for his hometown. In fact he does have a Diploma in International trade from Ngee Ann Poly hence from that moment after our conversation, I am very impressed by his humble attitude and willing to learn at a F&B store which is not easy for him as it’s a different scope altogether thus it’s a very courageous move and to be able to behave so humbly to learn from scratch is indeed a remarkable move and this definitely create a very good impression of him and his humble actions & from the way he chats with me for that 10 mins made me remember this young chap very well. I literally observe how hardworking Veron Chan Wei Lun is because he has to go to the counter to collect every food order, serve all customers with their specific order and still have to clear and wipe every tables after usage. No doubt Veron Chan Wei Lun is a newbie and doesn’t know much about F&B role however I can see that he is making an extra effort to learn all the procedures and to take note of every little details of his job scope which is very rare gesture to have nowadays for youngster like him who is age 34 years old and yet still willing to work in a F&B with such long operating hours which start from 11am-930pm thus I am deeply impressed by his hardworking attitude. This can be physically and mentally draining for Veron Chan Wei Lun in the long run hence he must be a very nice employee to have when the fact that very few youngsters will even want to choose to work at a F&B outlet which operate such long hours in a day and when he does have a Diploma and yet he still choose to work this job hence this goes to show that he is someone who is able to take hardship and a very perseverance guy. Reason being, my job requires me to face different customers every single day so I can totally understand and relate how tough it’s for Veron Chan Wei Lun when he still have to put on a smile everyday when dealing with different types of customers which nowadays customers can be so demanding or impatience or nasty people, so he can be so hardworking and willing to learn new things is indeed a virtue, as such I do truly & respect him a lot. I am highly impressed with Veron Chan Wei Lun’s customer service & willingness to learn attitude as he is willing to go the extra mile to serve all customers at the shop which will result in having more customers wanting and willing to patronise the outlet more often so this is a very rare gesture to have nowadays in this era. I am very confident to comment and compliment Veron Chan Wei Lun mainly because I work from a very small role in my finance career until only 3 years ago I got promoted as a Director of Sales when I start working in finance industry at age 26 and till now I am 43 years old already. I would like to compliment Veron Chan Wei Lun for a pay raise or promotion for putting the extra effort with his work, serve customers with passion and patience. Please kindly arrange a session to compliment Veron Chan Wei Lun in front of all the staff for his awesome and splendid customer service so that all other employees should literally take him as a role model to learn from. Lastly I sincerely hope the higher management will take serious consideration on my feedback written especially for Veron Chan Wei Lun. Thank you. Tam Jai is always good for quick and simple meal. Quick and efficient service, tasty noodles with customizable topping. Tried most of the broth available and I have to say it's all pretty good across the board. Toppings is always quite generous, and I really love the mince meat sauce topping. Definitely recommend Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
