Cosy, comfortable place that is spacious enough so you don’t hear your neighbour’s table talk. Servers are attentive and friendly — great service that tended to us really well. The proteins let their own flavour speak for itself and are cooked well; the french onion soup was rich in flavour; and the desserts were a great finish. The main counter staff who served us (didn’t get his name unfortunately) even sang us a birthday song, lit a candle for us at our table, and offered to snap a photo of us. Would definitely recommend a visit to this place! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Very wallet friendly french place that honestly felt very homely! Appetisers we ordered the French onion soup ($18) must get! It felt so hearty but I think it’s perfect for sharing as it was q jelak after awhile maybe because it was q dense HAHA! For our mains the chicken was cooked nicely but I would have wanted it to have bolder flavours! Some parts were rather dry as well but the portion was 100% worth the price! The beef felt like it had a tinge of chinese influence (maybe because of the wine) but tasted overall! Now for the best part! Dessert was the of the show! It was creamy, pillowy and everything nice! They even comped it for writing an honest review! Would love to go back again! Price per person: $50–60 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

We had lunch at The Plump Frenchman and overall it was a pleasant experience. We ordered soup, salad, chicken, ribs, fish, and tiramisu; the soup, salad, chicken, and fish were fresh and well prepared, while the ribs were just okay. The tiramisu was disappointing, as it was served in a bowl rather than as a proper cut piece, and the presentation felt messy. Service was friendly and the atmosphere relaxed.
