I made a reservation today for 2 at 830pm, and they confirmed it on the phone. Then, after I canceled another dinner reservation since Uehara was available, "Ray" called and said that the "chef decided it was too full and my reservation is canceled" .. he wasn't even polite or apologetic. I told him I gave up another reservation since they were available, and he didn't care or offer to do anything. This is a terrible customer service attitude. Because they already had confirmed my reservation, I naturally canceled my other reservation, so now I have none. Then, as I was writing this review, the chef or manager called back and I thought maybe they'd come to their senses, but he just said sorry but no I can't do anything we're too full. I asked if they really can't take 2 people more because I've now lost my other reservation and he said no and he said it's our fault, so I said that you should at least do something for me, but he just said "no cannot sorry." They could offer a discount on a future meal, some tiny gesture would've been good enough after making a mess of my evening plans. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $500+
