Though I only frequent this place for their yummy Yong Tau Fu, the vibe is so nostalgic. It's always full at lunch time, go early, the queue is long after 11.30am. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Delicious, cute spot, nice frosty ones. Stopped in for dinner on a busy Thursday night, friendly service and phenomenal flavour in the gravy noodle dish ($5). XO Radish cake with egg was also yum ~$14 Xiaolongbao were OK but everyone knows you don’t order dumplings at a gravy shop. Fu Lin Bar & Kitchen delivers comfort and nostalgia with a contemporary touch. Was there for a small group gathering over dinner and drinks. We had a medly of foods to go with our wine, including the XO Radish Cake, Yong Tau Foo, Fu Lin Noodles, Fried Intestines and String Beans. The XO Radish Cake shines brightest here: soft inside, crisp outside, infused with rich XO sauce that plays beautifully with a glass of wine. It’s familiar comfort food done right. The Fu Lin Noodles, however, fall short: overly soggy and heavy, the starchy sauce overwhelms after a few bites. The signature Yong Tau Foo redeems the meal with its savory, well-balanced gravy and consistent quality—clearly the highlight of the menu. The String Beans bring good crunch but lean too far on the salty side, muting the natural sweetness of the beans. Stick to their staples—the XO Radish Cake and Yong Tau Foo—and you’ll leave satisfied. The rest of the lineup, though decent, could use a lighter hand on salt and sauce to balance the experience.
