12時の開店を待って来訪。 お店はビルの2Fにあるのですが、入り口が分かり辛かった(エレベーターで上がる) タップビールの種類が多いと聞き期待していたのですが、ちょうど間が悪かったのか 印のものが多く残念でした。 ビール自体はとても美味しくて大満足。 (もっと色々飲みたかったー) クリスピーチキンウイングも絶品でした。. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $50–100

Ho Lan Jeng is a fun fusion restaurant with a wide selection of craft beers. We went during lunchtime and my friend, who knows beer well, said their beers were great. For appetizers, we ordered the jellyfish head with eggplant and I really loved it. The texture and flavor worked very well together. The fries were also excellent. They were crispy, well seasoned and very enjoyable. The main dish, the cha siu lard rice, took quite a long time to arrive. We waited around 30 to 40 minutes. When it finally came, the cha siu was a bit dry. I think they either need to switch to a fattier cut or pay closer attention to temperature/ time control when grilling the meat so that it stays tender. The price is not high, but with a 30 or 40 minute wait for a lunch dish, my expectations naturally increased. I would return for the appetizers and the craft beer selection, but I hope the kitchen improves the consistency of the main dishes.
